Rare Plains Pony Beaded Bowcase and Quiver, c. mid-19th century, buffalo hide set beaded with a multicolored geometric banded design with pony beads, with painted black stripes on both cases and fringed ends, includes two original arrows with tag reading "'Quiver and arrows of a Sioux Warrior at the Black Hills' Donor-Francis M. Thompson," includes an ash bow from the period, lg. 36 in. Provenance: Memorial Hall Museum, Deerfield, Massachusetts; donated to the museum by Francis M.
