Naturalistic painting depicting a lush mountain landscape with tall, with craggy mountains to background at left that reach high into the light blue sky, the foreground to right and center with a sparsely grassed field having a meandering foot path to center upon which walks a lone fox, with a steep hill to right holding tall green tree. Verso of stretcher with French export shipping label. Framed approximately 47.5" x 63.5", unframed approximately 33.75" x 50.75".
