Provenance: From the Estate of Jill Mitchell (Virginia Mills), a student at Cranbrook in the 1940s, where she won awards for her work in woven and printed textile design. During her time there she became a lifelong friend of Charles and Ray Eames and Eero Saarinen, later working for both.
