Provenance: Property from the Estate of Ada Louise Huxtable, architecture critic, the New York Times . Note: L. Garth Huxtable (1911-1989), the husband of Ada Louise Huxtable, was a noted industrial designer. Along with over 140 pieces for the Four Seasons Restaurant in the landmark Seagrams building in New York, he designed modernist furniture for their Park Avenue apartment and these tables for their Marblehead summer house.
