French, 20th century. Set of 5 rattan bistro chairs or barstools hand-constructed and hand-woven by Maison Drucker founded in 1885, the rounded back, sides and seat are woven in two colors, blue and green, from rilsan, derived from the castor oil plant. The chairs are raised on turned, cluster tied legs united by similar stretchers. The back of each chair bearing brass Drucker nameplate. Approximate height 41", width 20", seat depth 14.5", seat height 24".
