Wucai Covered Jar, China, 17th century or later, baluster form, heavily potted, depicting Ming officials and attendants at an interior setting opening to a courtyard with pine trees, the neck painted with rocks and flowers, with a cracked-ice border along the shoulder, base unglazed and unmarked, the domed cover decorated with boys playing in a garden, ht. 14 1/2 in.
