Silver-mounted Blue and White Hot-milk Covered Jug, China, 18th century or later, pear-shape, the bottom half decorated with gadrooned panels of women and flowers, with stylized lotus flowers on the neck and clouds along the handle, the hinged cover depicting a peony flower, connected to the loop handle with a possibly Dutch silver mount with a silver dog-form thumbpiece and two indistinct silver marks, yu (jade) character mark on base, ht. 6 3/4 in.
