John Van Koert (Canadian/American 1912-1998) for Drexel Furniture Company (American, North Carolina), 1957. A walnut wood two-tier lamp table from the "Profile" line, the rectangular top comprising of dark walnut framed on either side by light walnut terminating in light walnut splayed tapered legs joined by a dark walnut shelf bordered by light walnut with light walnut joint elements. Stamped on verso of seat "K765/Lamp Table/Walnut/By Drexel/1257." Approximate height 24", width 28", depth 18".
