Octavo, fourteen volumes, illustrated with photogravures after old masters, text printed in a large typeface, dispensing with the usual chapter and verse numbering, each volume 9 1/2 x 6 in., occupying a little less than two feet of shelf space, in half leather bindings, very dry, spines detached and boards detached throughout the set, some spines missing, contents acceptable.
