Will & Finck Hand Carved Case Keeper. San Francisco: Will & Finck, ca. 1890. Unlike most examples carved in spades, the carver of this piece chose club suit symbols and furthermore added great detail to the court cards that has not been observed in others of this type. The beads are perfectly preserved ivory. 13 x 12 ". An exceptionally fine example from the manufacturer's top line of merchandise. Excellent. Hallmarked.
