19th century each depicting characters from plays by William Shakespeare, comprising one spill vase depicting Florizel and Perdita from The Winter's Tale, one figural group depicting an embracing Romeo and Juliet above a verse from Romeo and Juliet mounted to the naturalistic base, and one depicting Sir John Falstaff from Henry IV, Part 1 and Henry IV, Part 2. Height of first 11 5/8 inches. Property from the Collection of Richard and Charron Traut, Hinsdale, Illinois all with light wear, crazing and flaking to glaze Winter's Tale: loss of element from tree with areas of overpainting; crack along lower back edge approx. 4" The figure depicting Sir John Falstaff is holding a sword that is missing its blade Romeo and juliet having circular chip to lower front plaque approx. 1/4"; some discoloration and wear to man's shirt and woman's hair (additional images available upon request)
