20th century comprising a pair of cast iron examples each depicting an owl, a pair of gilt metal examples each with a figure of a phoenix raised on a stone base, a pair of alabaster figures each depicting a cockatoo marked Made in Italy, a pair of Bradley & Hubbard cast iron examples each depicting a house among trees in bas-relief, and a pair of gilt and painted cast iron fu dogs. Height of tallest 7 1/2 inches. One of the phoenix figure bookends has a broken tail, and the other figure is loose from the base.
