Henri Privat-Livemont (Belgian, 1861–1936), "Girl in Bonnet"-1904, lithograph in colors, signed and dated in print at lower left "Privat Livemont 1904". Art Nouveau print depicting fresh-faced young woman doing needlepoint in a garden, the woman with stylized bonnet with butterfly and floral motifs, with dress of similar patterning with butterflies and floral ornamentation, with needlepoint depicting unfinished roses, with foliage, trees and windmills in the distance. Framed approximately 19.6" x 23.4". Sight approximately 12.75" x 16.5". Provenance: The Richard and Merle Haber collection; whereby acquired by present owner. Note: Alternate artist spellings include "Private-Livemonet", "Private Livemonet", "Privat Livemont". Privat-Livemont is best known for his Art Nouveau posters.
