An oak easy chair or wingback chair in the William and Mary or Baroque style (popular 1690-1730) comprising an exaggeratedly arched crest over the two wings or cheeks over upswept rectangular arms the soft cushioned seat on the upholstered seat rail, the arms, back, wings, cushion, and seat rail upholstered in conforming dark grey felt wool upholstery of soft texture, surmounting the oak ring block and baluster turned legs and stretchers. Approximate height 47", width 29.5", depth 28.5", seat to floor 18". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Helen Ballard, Atlanta, Georgia.
